It's been 5 months since I had my son and while I have lost a good amount of weight, I'm having problems losing the rest. I had peeclamsia during pregnancy so I gained 70 pounds and lost 30 of it in the first month after delivery, I have since lost about 15, but my progression has stalled and my stomache is still very "squishy", although there is muscle underneath. Allergy question?

I have been seeing an allergist since 3/06. I have allergies to some dust and a few tree pollens causing seasonal allergic rhinitis. I am taking singulair, allegra, and astelin. I was getting injections twice a week but have stopped those on my own. Paying $50/week in copays is a bit excessive. I have done fine for the past month with meds alone. Have I built up an immunity or is it just because the meds are working and allergy season is over? The allergist still seems to insist I try to get the injections. Why do I need them if I'm taking allergy meds? Has anyone else done these injections? Do they work or is it a scam to get money? I live in CT by the way. This is supposedly the worst year ever here for allergies. Thanks for your help with this.

Why is my new ford focus keep leaking power steering fluid??

My car is a 2011 and every morning I have to put power steering fluid in it just to drive it fir the day. I have a warranty so I took it to a Ford dealer. Weigh much more than i look?

i weigh 400 pounds, yet i look to be about 300 pounds. I have lots of fat hanging off of me. I look waaay smaller than all of the other people that weigh this much but i seem a lot softer. My question is what does this mean in regards to my frame size and body somatotype. I definately get fat easily (an endomorphic trait). Yet i am tall, have broad, square shoulders that are wider than my hips and i have no trouble with losing weight when i remain active (mesomorphic traits). So here's the deal. My cat, Samantha has these weird spots on her neck. She has not gone outside lately because of the bitter cold and snow. My stepmom and I were petting her and we felt bumps all around her neck. She wears a loose collar. How do I help my mother and cope with her mental illness?

My mother was diagnosed with Paranoid Personality Disorder last year. She is 45 years old and her condition seems to be getting worse. She refuses to believe that anything is wrong with her, which also means that she refuse to go to a doctor or take any medication. We have tried to put the medication prescribed by the psychiatrist in her juice, but after getting caught by her once we stopped doing so. Me, my father and my brother are the only people she trusts and we can't risk breaking it. She is also getting a depressed and tried told my father that she's leaving home, a few days back. I am an 18 year old girl and am with my mom all the time as she believes that my friends are evil as well and doesn't allow me to see them. Please tell me how a can help my mother and how I can cope up with her mental illness as well as the social isolation she's put me in. I have always been quite mature for my age, and mostly have been able to handle this situation on my own, but I don't know how much longer I can take this stress. I would feel better if I were allowed to see my best friends but that's not possible right now. I know that I can refuse to listen to mom and go ahead and meet my friends anyway (I mean, it's not like she can physically stop me), but I don't want to do that because it will hurt her and make her really upset. And according to the psyciatrist my dad is seeing so he could help my mom, if we criticize her or behave rudely with her, it'll push her over the edge. Im beyond confused. I have been with someone for 4 years. Of the 4 years I have been having a "friend with benefit" (FWB) on the side. The first year I was faithful and then that ended. I had huge feelings for the FWB, a guy that me and my boyfriend are cool with and he ended up moving into the same complex as me so it made it that much easier to start something with him. he was always so controlling growing up. i couldnt drive like my friends could he never let my mom drive either. he always had to drive her out of town. i remember going to the store and i would be with him when he would see a stranger I felt like i would be kicked aside and his performances would began. he would make them feel like he is the best guy in the world. he would always had this thing for helping strangers over his family. we were always brushed aside if a stranger needed help. i just always thought this was weird growing up. i left got married. not 13 years later....i havent lived near him in those years and decided to move down the street from him. he is a contactor and he said he would do anything i wanted to my house and help me. so i paid top dollar for it and i thought my husband ,me and him would work on the house. he does some drywall work and then rips out the bathroom and rips stuff out upstairs and rips the stairs off says he is going to build me the best stairs . so my husband and i are working with him try to learn and do what we can. i was paying him what i could and then he found out i paid the wood layer to lay wood on the floors and he got really pissed and started telling my mom that we are just USING him. He said he is never going back down there and helping me. so my husband and i are now stuck with this house that he just decided to rip stuff out of and say how good he is at fixing it. he knows we dont have any money to hire contractors and we are very limited on knowledge about how to fix it. he would say you cant fix it because you dont have to money to hire contractors. and stuff like that. so my husband and i have been for the past 6 months try to learn and fix. in the meantime during this remodeling period he promised me i would be in the house christmas and i told him we cant do this together longer that that because i have another mortgage and i have to get my house ready to sell. he said i would be in the house last christmas. no he just walks in the house and said if you dont pay me for working 500 a week i would put a lien on your house or you can finish it yourself. so my husband and i just decided to finish it ourselves. he is an alchoholic gets drunk every night. the bad news is that i have been staying with him and my mom until the remodeling is done. he got mad at me last week and locked me and my son out of the house after i went to the grocery store and couldnt get my other child out of the house. my daughter let me in . he changed the locks and my key wouldnt work. he is very jealous because he knows i have about 100,000 equity in my other house and i was asking him to do this one little job that i could find anyone else to do and he thought i was talking about the house i have all the equity in and said he is absolutely not going to do any work on that house and me turn around and sell out and make money on. i had to sell all my stocks have been through my savings just to not lose anything. the whole house was ripped out and i couldnt get my other house sold that had the equity in until i got the house ready to store my stuff in because i couldnt afford storage and had nowhere to put my stuff. he shows no concience. how could you lock your grandchild out of the house? i told him that i am going to lose my house and have to file bankruptcy because he bailed on me and ripped my house out and he could care less. he never showed love to me growing up and doesnt now either. its very eery. i tell my kids i love them all the time. it seems he wants to win. my husbands family has really been helping us with out house trying to get it sold and he gets really pissy not happy for us that they are helping. i asked him if he could just please bring his triler over to the house after work instead of the morning so i could move some furniture and there will be 5 other people here also. he said oh so you are trying to con me into moving furnture. i litterly have to have another person around me when he does stuff for me because he puts on this great show and does this spectacular job when a stranger is around. if it is just me and him he will be throwing my furniture around. i feel like he wants to win . he wants me to fail. this is about him not helping and then us failing and losing one of the houses. he told me when he said he is not working any more on my house that HE has the power to get me and the kids in out house . I was told to sign an Authorization to disclose protected Health Information to allow opposing lawyers from workman's compensation to view so a settlement can be reached. However I do have protected Health information from several years ago I do not want released. Such as information involving my Federal Pension Disability and of course my records relating to Mental Disorders. Hey nobody is perfect. Barca will also be very good next year, but I do not see them repeating. I think another team that will get even better will be Bayern Munich. If what your doing is not working, switch up a bit. Try dancing a bit couple of hours after you eat. Study your diet and make sure you not eating too much or too little. If you have a slow metabolism, you shouldn't diet, you should just change your habits. Diets are temporary and we tend to rebel when things aren't going our way. If you really have to lose a lot of weight, think of it more as a life style change. All in all, be patient. Healthy weight loss takes time.

I replaced my intake manifold gasket and catalytic converter on my 2002 Chevy Impala and need help.?

When putting things back together, I ended up with one extra connector that is dangling (there is a set of 3 wires that lead to the alternator, 2 of which connect to the alternator, and there is no spot in the area within reach of the wiring for the connector to attach to), and I cannot figure out where it is supposed to go. My check engine light stays on, and the code reads that the catalytic converter is defective because the oxygen sensor in the front is reading different than the oxygen sensor in the back. I am just learning how to do car repairs, so please don't judge me harshly, but can someone please help me figure out what I need to do? Thanks!

Bro playing the comp all the time?

my brother plays the computer like its his life (easy 5-8hrs a day). i need advice, what should i do with him. the solution isnt as simple as "hey tell your parents". my dad lives in another city (b/c of his job) and my mom is sick so there isnt much supervision. however, my parents (when possible) give him the "Responsibility" speech all the time but he doesnt listen. if my parents like force him from the comp. he gets very angry and all hel! breaks loose. he isnt the sociable type so he has very few freinds so he cant really hang out with them all the time. additionally he refuses to play outside. The reason why im doing this now is that when i was cleaning the attic i saw all these "honor roll" principle roll certificates. I've done everything under the sun except murder and emancipation to help better my situation & nothin has left an impact lasting more than 3 wks and im done... well. Now I'm actually on "borrowed time" with them becuz I moved out ovr the summer (now I am bak 4 my grandmother...) and wen I moved out it was the last straw. Now I am looking to get out again..but here's the complicated part... I used to live in MD... Now we live in VA....to drop out legally in MD u only have 2 be 16... to drop out in VA... u have 2 b 18. My plan now is to get emancipated and to do that... I have to be living out of my parents house for 6 months and I plan on livin w/ my bestfriend and her family in prince georges MD....the only issue is.. Im 16 and still in school....I have a plan formualated... to get your GED in MD u have to be 16 and be an MD resident 4 3 mnths.... I am going to get my GED and attend Prince Georges Community College after I gain my emancipation.... but the only ything stopping me is the fact that you cannot legally drop out of highschool in VA until 18.... so does anyone know how I could go about this? I have tlked 2 sum who have dropped out of my same school and sum of them have gotten withdrawn by getting expelled... should I jus get expelled... or just stop going? Wat wuld be consequences of just not coming anymore?

I'm confused slightly. if warrants dont expire until your in custody no matter how old the warrant may be, how is it that i failed to appear in court after being charged with burglary 15 yrs ago, recently i went to see a solicitor 2 get this sorted out who then phoned the local courthouse 2 find out if i had anything outstanding. the lady at the courthouse checked the system for the whole of merseyside courts but nothing was on their system. how can this be if once a warrant is out there it out there, the solicitor i saw called the court house while i was present and also told me to 4get about it. huh? even tho the court have nothing on record would this be the case with the police national computer if my name was checked, do the court hold records of every outstanding warrant an do they search the pnc when searching for a warrant or are court and pnc systems unlinked
