Why should I care about Darfur? Why should Obama care?

I got a forward email from a friend about "Mr. Obama, Please end this Genocide." It was for me to sign my name to this list being sent to him. That's great but, what about helping AMERICA? I am not pleased to see the first political email of the day be about a whole 'nother country.
